What is MNT?
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is a type of nutrition counselling that is provided as part of treating a specific medical condition. It involves a thorough nutritional assessment followed by a customised diet plan designed to support healing, manage symptoms, and improve clinical outcomes. MNT is an integral part of managing chronic diseases — not an afterthought.
Conditions We Manage
Our MNT programmes cover: Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Liver Disease (fatty liver / NAFLD–MASLD, cirrhosis), Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Cancer (onco) Nutrition across chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, Cardiac Nutrition (post-angioplasty, post-CABG, cholesterol and lipid management), Critical-care and transplant nutrition (kidney, liver, small bowel, heart and bone-marrow), Respiratory conditions (COPD, asthma, ILD), Neurological conditions, and Autoimmune disorders. Each plan is tailored to the specific biochemical and clinical needs of the patient.
The Sehat+ MNT Process
We begin with a comprehensive nutritional assessment including dietary recall, anthropometric measurements, and review of blood reports. A therapeutic diet chart is then designed in coordination with your treating doctors. Regular follow-ups ensure the plan evolves with your condition. We track clinical markers (HbA1c, lipid profiles, kidney function, etc.) and adjust the diet accordingly.
