Critical Care Nutrition

Specialised nutrition for ICU and bedridden patients — including RT and PEG tube feeds.

Critical-care nutrition is a Sehat+ forte. ICU patients with trauma, sepsis, stroke or organ failure cannot eat normally and lose muscle rapidly. We design specialised feeds — oral, RT (Ryle's tube) and PEG — that maintain calorie and protein targets so patients preserve muscle mass and recover, even in the most complex cases.

What's included

ICU nutrition for trauma, sepsis, stroke and organ failure
RT (Ryle's tube) and PEG tube-feed formulation
Post-colostomy and surgical tube-feed transitions
Calorie and protein targets to prevent muscle-mass loss
Support for bedridden and hemiplegic patients
Coordination with intensivists and the ICU team

Why Critical-Care Nutrition Is Different

Critically ill patients break down muscle at an alarming rate. Without the right specialised feeds, recovery stalls and complications rise. Precise calorie and protein delivery — through the right route (oral, RT or PEG) — is what keeps patients stable and supports their return to health.

Complex Cases Are Our Strength

Ambika is often referred the most difficult cases — patients other teams have struggled with. With careful, team-based management, these patients pick up muscle mass and stabilise. From trauma and sepsis to stroke and post-surgical tube feeds, specialised critical-care nutrition makes the difference.

Feeds We Manage

We formulate and adjust oral, RT (Ryle's tube) and PEG feeds, and manage transitions — for example after colostomy or major surgery — maintaining nutrition targets at every step while coordinating closely with the treating intensivists.
