Best of Brussels — Nutrition in Critical Care
14th Annual Conference — “Best of Brussels” (ISCCM Pune Branch × ISICEM)
Part of Sehat+'s school nutrition partnership programme, this session brought together parents, teachers, and school administrators to address the growing problem of childhood obesity and nutritional deficiencies in school-age children. Ambika walked through the science of what children's developing brains and bodies actually need — and dismantled popular myths about healthy school lunches. She worked with the school's food service team to redesign the canteen menu during the session.
Why it matters
Nutritional habits formed before age 12 tend to persist through adulthood. A child who understands why food matters — and whose school environment supports good choices — has a powerful head start. This talk is for anyone invested in the next generation's health.
Corporate wellness days, conferences, schools, community events — every talk is tailored, evidence-based, and practical.
